I don't believe in subgenres. Technical brutal deathcore grind? What the shit is that!? Why the hell should I care that the minute differences in my scene make it better than your scene? I propose all musicians and music fans get along, regardless of genre. I'm a prog fan, but I won't look down on something just because it's "simple", or because it's "mainstream". I like Lady Gaga like I like my Pain Of Salvation and Meshuggah. Kraftwerk and Beneath The Massacre share space on my playlist. Beethoven, Kanye West, and Chet Atkins mingle freely. Good music is good music, regardless of what genre it comes from. quote |
