Originally founded on September 23, 1889 as a manufacturer of hand-made hanafuda cards and is historically the oldest intact company in the video game console market and they don't look like they're slowing down any time soon.
Nintendo have been the masterminds behind alot of the franchises you either love or hate including Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Pokemon and many others.
