The guide to: Jam

kevC4

This will save us some time

1: You need A microphone (webcam mic works too) or any working Guitar to PC interface/USB/etc. Webcams are optional to jam.

2: Make a Stickam Account at www.stickam.com (optional/unconfirmed: you should set your age over 16years old)

3: Log in the stickam box at the group's front page by clicking in the text box.

4: Check that your settings are alright (Right click in the stickam box, go to settings, go to mic options and check that everything's alright).

5: Click on a black stickam box to active your mic / webcam[optional]

Tips:

  • To know if your mic works, there's a soundbar right next to your stickam box that moves vertically when your sound works.
  • Everytime you enter in the stickam room, everyone is muted by default so when you go on the group's front page you don't get sounds that might annoy you so if you want to hear people in the stickam box, unmute them.
  • You can mute other people / lower their volume by simply hovering your mouse cursor on their box and clicking/hovering the sound icon that appears to lower the volume. You can also pause their webcams.
  • You can also mute your microphone/pause your webcam if you want to by hovering your mouse cursor on your box and clicking on the apropriate icons.
