I was wondering if any one has had any experiences involving domestic violence and what you guys and gals all think about it...Do women deserve to be hit by their husbands etc? What about hitting kids? Anything you have to say! Cheers!  |

Yeah, it's wrong for sure. I am fortunate that I've never had to endure something like that, but I do think that hitting one's wife or husband or giving your kids more than just "a spanking" is wrong... |

Well you really should never hit your wife and vice-versa, that is completely wrong. As for kids, you probably dont wanna punch them in the face or anything...But personally i think when kids are out of control they need a good ol spank in the ass...I know some may totally disagree with me on that...and thats fine...but thats one reason why i think todays youth is so disrespectful and rude, because they were never punished when they were doing something wrong. and im not saying a spanking is the only way to punish a kid but it sure helped me strighten up. Well I could keep going and going with all this...but anyway thats my take on all this.<BR><BR> |

I have these really wierd faded memories of when I was really young, of my dad getting me and my brother and wacking our heads together and of throwing my against the wall, and stuff. I know that that sounds really wierd, but they are very vague memories.<br />
Anyway I can hardly remember much from when I was really little, but my dad is really not strict or anything now.<br />
Maybe it was just normal things, and I just remember it from a really small child's point of view....... |

Gee, I feel bad for you guitarhead..My oldest sons dad basically used to bash the shit out of me..for things like breaking the yolk on his eggs when I was cooking them for him( I tell you, to this day i still panic if I break a yolk so I don't often!) I remember one time I was washing the dishes and he thought i had too much water in the sink so i copped it for that..If he had a bad day at work or whatever..it was always my fault as well. These violent bastards love to blame every one else for their poxy problems! of course it's always usually their own screwed up minds that cause it all. No matter what happens in a relationship, I don't think any one deserves to be hit...As for kids..I do not like smaking them but gees, they are naughty at times. But I used to get hit bad a bit as a kid so I generally don't smack them often, which is why they are so naughty sometimes probably! |

Actually he went to prison for 13 months so it wasn't too hard to get away from him in the end.
