Hey, this link must be broken. It says the profile hasn't been started yet, or something along those lines. |
I made it and then realized I'm not on here enough to keep a group going. I leave the idea to anyone else who wants to pick it up.

Anyways, sometimes something could be morally wrong and ethically correct.
If you are against abortion, you can find it immoral, while it can be voted in society to make it ethic and legal.
Same with Christianity for instance. You find premarital sex immoral, while it is perfectly ethic...
Ethics are used in situations which required objective thinking mostly, and are bound to the "greater good" rather than ones personal view about it. Then it applies to medicine, law, andy science, etc, and kind of regulate society...
Morals are not however.
But, there are traditional morals, which are the ones that guive you the path of how to construct your morals lets say...
When you do not follow it, you are considered "immoral", like when you think raping is good, or you like kicking homeless guys, etc. Ethics and morality go hand in hand when it comes to society, but when it is out of it, they don't...
Hope it helped, but you should probably ask your teacher, or researched it yourself (or ask quote |

I need your help!
My problem is I have a three page essay on the difference between ethics and morality, and I can't understand it properly. Can someone please help? Examples would also be useful. |
Think of morality as a set of things to do and not to do. They were basicly constructed from instincts (like, not killing your family, raise your children, etc) and developed as humans capability to understand things and further decide over them stretched, and from they began to think what would be best for their species and surroundings...
Now, thy main difference about morality and ethics is that, ethics are defined by society (like it is not ethic to kill a person, to cheat on a test, to have sex with your clients, etc...) and most times punished by it (whether it be making you an outcast, or by putting you in jail, etc).
Now, morality is contained whithin a frame of reference, that would be a certain region, a religion, or maybe even your own one,
