it depends. do you want powerful? or aggresive? DGCFAD is good for both. it also may have to do with your amp as well. try getting some pedals for different varieties. it depends. do you want powerful? or aggresive? Or simple try to get your guitar tunnig in Dropped D (DADGBE) it will sound a little more agressive but much more powerful.<br />
And try different types of equalizations on your amp. <br />

Sniper nice point of view about the pedals... but i recomend a pedal board guitar effects... now is up to you PARADOXAL
