Punk

Nay, don't even start the classic "real punk" discussion, guys. Let's face it, things have changed, some stay true to the original punk lifestyle, doing drugs and getting in a fight just for fun, others are straight-edge (myself included here), some are just punk at heart (um...yeah, sure.).

Joe-Fish is right, I don't think we should give a damn about what others think or say, but think of one thing: Iggy Pop used to sing with his chest cut with a broken bottle. What would happen if someone would do that nowadays? What would be the label? Back then people just considered his act to be shocking and disturbing... Now he would be labeled hm...I'm not sure what...Emo, perhaps?
The thing is, we have become obsessed with organizing our lives. Everything must fit into a category, everything must be labeled; otherwise, people would go insane... well, most of them

Please don't advertise other groups on the main page. Use the forum for that. And what if there is another punk group? All I know is they're both formed the same day and I see no reason to be a member of both of them.

I've learned a while ago not to call myself a punk, cuz nobody knows EXACTLY what punk is and frankly I don't give a damn what TRUE punk is. I simply agree with the punk ideology, I love the music and that's about it for me
