Nope, it was just for touring.
In 1993, he joined Deep Purple as a short-term replacement for Ritchie Blackmore during a Japanese tour. The concerts were such a success that Satriani was asked to join the band permanently, but he declined, having just signed a multi-album solo deal with Sony.
He played lead guitar on The Yardbirds' album: Birdland.
+Guitar duties on Alice Cooper's album Hey Stoopid, Spinal Tap's album Break Like the Wind, Blue Öyster Cult's album Imaginos. He made appearances on several tracks for Ian Gillan's solo album Gillan's Inn.

For those of you who are confused about what I meant when I said "light rope thing", this is what I was talking about. I don't always explain things the way I'd like to. lol.

hehe i hope i'll make it to there next year
I love my amp (Hughes & Kettner 30W). The clean channel is great, the distorted channel sounds really good as well, it comes with effects (delay, flanger, and chorus), plus reverb, good tone control, it maintains a good clean tone at any volume (can't say the same for a lot of other amps), reliable, and only $300. It was definitely worth it.

- I love when no one is home but me. - I love taking walks in the rain. - I love when my contributions are accepted. - I love getting new music. It keeps me occupied for a long time. - I love my sister's witty responses to everything. They make me laugh. - I love the mods' witty responses to the pathetic losers in the FoTB. It's pretty amusing. - I love having awesome dreams! But then hate waking up from them.
- I love posting in this thread and the hate thread when I'm bored....
I'm done now...

A small amount, like 5$? I would look around to see if anyone was missing it. But if not, then I'm keeping the 5$... But I'm talking about if it was a lot of money. I wouldn't keep it. I'd turn it in.
Ha ha, I found more than a nickel.

It's been my life's work! For example, on the last day of Primary School (Elementary School) in Ireland, I intentionally left a bit of raw meat behind the radiator in my teacher's classroom to let it fester away in the heat of the summer holidays (I wasn't very fond of her to say the least). I never found out what happened as I had moved on and gone to high school, though I'm sure they weren't too pleased about it

Yeah the party was a bit sucky tbh, this weird filthy fat ignorant mofo' neighbour started bawling at us at 11:30 saying that he'd been kept up from his beauty sleep by us and that we were insensitive selfish bastards what with him having his "young one dying downstairs" (??? ) and that he'd get the police onto us...he then got in my face and made threats against me and my friends, totally compromising his position...then his trailer trash wfe came out to say the same thing to me and pulled his considerable bulk away...I don't really know what to do, whilst I don't want the police getting onto me about an underage drinking party (and me getting into all kinds of shit with my parents about it) I don't feel I should let this altercation with this guy just pass by without doing something, I'm shitting myself wondering if he's gonna smash my windows in or something....

It's the SD Screamin' Demon. Signature kinda thing for somebody but I don't remember their name. Nice midrange on it. not too much low end and about the right amount of treble too. the old one was a brick. I'll have to take a pic and show you guys how big it was.

Kentucky is already sort of next to Illinois... More like underneath... Too far south. Chicago is north. Replace one of the stupid suburbs with Louisville and that'll make it better.

That'll be great to kill all those trees and the animals that live in the forest... not really... I have a solution though... Drop your house on my annoying neighbor's house and replace them.

There going to tear it down like they always do anyway. I just figured it would be quicker this way...But killing your neighbors sounds just as fun I joke!

I like walking in the snow when it's not windy. But it's always windy over here. Especially during the winter. So I don't normally enjoy that part of it.

Aww. Well either way I usually enjoy it, If I am wearing warm cloths and everything and I don't have to be out in it for a long period of time. Ehh you could try walking behind someone when its really windy! I usually do that if I have the chance. lol

Yeah, I usually do walk behind someone. But if the wind gets more vicious than normal then nothing can really protect you from frostbite. Luckily, that lovely forest across the street from my house blocks most of the wind. It gets bad when I get beyond my neighborhood though.

I love Schecter guitars. and Gibson guitars. The Gibson LP I played last week at GC was pretty sweet. But then, so is my new Schecter. (pretty sure the neck is perfect for my hands. the LP seemed a little big.)

definitely. especially when it's the exact thing that made you fall in love with it. Like my C-1. It was the floor model and I fell in love the minute I started playing it. Then when I got to go buy it I got the most amazing feeling.

I know the problem with my sound. My audio driver is outdated and it needs to be updated. But I don't have the disc to do that and I don't have enough money to do it over the internet. So it's going to have to wait until I do.

V: I got a Digitech Hardwire CM-2 Tube Overdrive. It's absolutely amazing. Right now I have it dialed in to a tone that's really close to Jimmy Page's studio Dazed and Confused lead tone.
EDIT: I love that my uncle just got me hooked on The Yardbirds.
Annie: Ban thread FTW!

I haven't tried the Screamin' Blues pedal. I think my OD is gonna last me a good long time though. It's way more responsive than I originally thought it would be. It cleans up pretty good if I back off on the volume and has more dirt than I will need in a long time. I can even get some pretty convincing metal tones out of it.

- I love silent movies. Especially silent movies that feature Harold Lloyd: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulMQzB-_9yw - I love going to downtown Chicago just to take pictures and walk around - I love getting free clothes from friends who don't want them anymore
