I was a bit dissapointed with back to earth first time I saw it, but it was better the next. :)

It was worse than a Chow Mein Pot Noodle. Absolutely smeg!

 You take that back.

I was pretty satisfied with the new episodes, even if it was a bit too slick, because one of Red Dwarfs biggest comedy points (For me, at least) was the crappiness of the special effects. The episodes were funny, especially bits like where they meet that Hologram lady for the first time, she calls Rimmer a bit crap, and the Psi-Scan confirms it. :haha:

"Ep 2 was MUCH better then Ep1." Agreed, part 1 was pretty awful.

The first part of the specail was awesomly funny, Ironing sneezes, Classic.! Was anyone else weirded out by the lack of a laughter track? just seemed strange without it.

+1
I'd prefer a nice laughter track, even if it was laughter from an external screening.

What the hell, Jeff Walker and Bill Steer (From Carcass) were both in the Timeslides episode as 'Gazza and Dobbin' in Smeg and the Heads
Holy shit really? Where did you find that out?

Wikipedia.

Other sources confirm it, which makes it all the more scary... :(

Series 3 is undoubtedly the best.

And holy shit, all the Red Dwarf DVDs are £2.55 on play.com from a playtrader?!

You can buy them in 2 box sets, 1 -4 and 5 - 8.

I want another series!

Series 8 has the best lines.
