I'm currently working on "32-20 Blues" that is basically fast-paced blues in "A", with or without capo for one's vocal range.
It works for me in standard open tuning, and as that is my favored tuning, i'll give the capo a miss. ill hav to listen to his version again to see if he uses one in that song or not...
"Love in vain" i play in standard, ih the key and shape of G/G7. As well as;
"Sweet home chigargo"
"Kindhearted woman blues"...
Learning to apply open tunings more fully to my slidework, so that i can more fully perform such RJ classics as "Crossroads Blues" and "Preachin Blues [Up jumped the devil]"
