We don't have a good place to discuss banjos on UG, so I thought I'd make one.
Discuss anything related to 4 or 5 string banjos. Players of other banjo hybrids instruments are allowed too, I suppose (banjitar, banjolele, banjolin, etc). Genres (bluegrass, old time, country, jazz, celtic, etc), styles (Scruggs, clawhammer, frailing, Keith, Reno, plectrum, etc), techniques, bands, players, instruments, whatever really. Also, you don't have to actually play banjo to join; any who enjoy the instrument are welcome. |
