I love SG's. I love tremolo. I was thinking of getting a stetsbar, but the tremolo arm on the stets looks like it would be hard to use as it is attached to the middle of the bridge as opposed to the side. Is there any way to put a Maestro bridge on my G400, or at the least get a maestro bridge to put on it? also, are locking tuners necessary when having a tremolo bridge?

You could get a Maestro without needing locking tuners, although I think adding a Bigsby would be easier, cause they were options in the seventies. |

How would I go about installing a maestro or a Bigsby bridge? Is there any drilling required or does it just screw in where the tailpiece would be? |

I think part of it screws in where the tailpiece is, but there are another two holes that need to be drilled further down.
I've never seen that other bridge before, but it looks really cool. |
