I have nothing against the guy. He's talented and I respect him. But he is WAAAY overrated! Izzy wrote most of the GnR material Slash is perceived to have written, his ability to play for his level of fame is average at best and he thinks hanging a fag out his mouth, wearing a top hat and speaking with a slur makes him look cool (it doesn't).
You're all thinking that his playing has "rhythm and soul" but to me it doesn't particularly. Compared with his replacement Buckethead - to me Buckethead has much more emotion in his playing (listen to Nottingham Lace) and he would clean Slash up in a shred-off anyday!
