Well I finally got my Strat: a new American Standard HSS. Also got a Fender Vibrochamp amp. I like the amp and its variety of tones, but unforunately mine arrived with a crack in the case.  It seems to play fine but I'm not going to trust it for the long run with a cracked case, so I've got to return it and get another. 
Anyway, here's my stuff:

Oh my... I don't have a Stratocaster, yet... but that's the exact same guitar I want! HSS... sunburst... rosewood fingerboard...
