either croyde or saunton..croyde is usually very busy tho, saunton is lovely tho..free parking and not too busy once the tourists go
Abroad:
Probably Immsouane or Panorama's in Morocco near Agadir..i was only a beginner when i surfed these breaks, but i can see myself surfing Anka Point next year ....immsouane is immense....overhe ad waves breaking into a bay with a massive rip taking you to the shore...catch 2 waves for about 200/300 m , get out, and walk back up the beach and paddle out again..amazing

Can't remember the name but there was this tight beach in Maui that you would have to paddlle out for at least 200 yards, and even then it was only about 4 feet deep but there were coral reefs below you so it was a bad idea to stand. But the water was warm and the waves were probably about an average of 5 feet, and when you would catch one, they wouldn't break until it got within about 30 yards or so of shore, so you could just ride them forever. The water was really glassy and the entire place was beautiful.
Another tight place was this beach called McKenna Beach, on either Maui or Kawui and the 3 days we went there there was about 4-5 foot shorebreak so it was amazing for skimboarding. Hawaii in general=the shit. |

i just surfed bundoran the peak and a secret spot called lisadel on the west coast of ireland there this week and it was fucking awesome but my feet are cut to shit from the reefs and god do i hate seaweed its the scariest shit around lol anyhoo my fav break would have to be those and my home break which is an insane wedge breaking in about half a foot of water and holds up to 8 foot. man its scary check it on teh other surf groups thread. |
