Well, pretty obvious: who are your favourite soul artists?

Mine are Ray Charles (he got me into it), James Brown, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, The Supremes and The Temptations (and lots of others I forgot now).

I have to go with Otis above anyone else. He just had a powerful and passionate voice. His version of Ain't No Sunshine is amazing. I have to go with Otis above anyone else. He just had a powerful and passionate voice. His version of Ain't No Sunshine is amazing.

Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, Luther Vandross (Superstar-Until You Come Back To Me is one of the most soulful songs I have ever heard). I love them all.<br />

Also, one of my favorites out there right now is definitely Anthony Hamilton. He puts some serious emotion into his songs. He is much different from the other guys out there these days.
