we here at The true eccentric tea drinking appreciation preservation society love our tea but i was wondering why do you not drink coffee? i have never in my life tasted coffee and i do not want to start now. the reason for this was having to taste a spoon full of dry coffee when i was younger now i cant even stand the smell. so i was wondering what reasons you all have for not drinking coffee are. |

Because coffee is liquefied phailure.
Tea is nicer, more interesting, it wakes you up just as well as coffee does, there's more variety to tea and it's flavours and I hate the kind of people that go to coffee shops; and sit on the big sofas. |

i love coffee. drink it just as much as i drink tea. i always get the best quality beans i can, ground fresh and french pressed with filtered water. (just like you would tea..)

What I really have against coffee is the institution around it which makes it such a demonic and evil drink. Starbuck's and the similar chain coffee shops, where you can sit on a giant sofa and drink whipped cream covered in grated almonds and chocolate, but to make it all seem like a legitimate drink, half a shot of espresso is added; all while these people read trashy pseudo-intellectual books or type their "groundbreaking screenplays" on laptops.
