I ended up getting a standard (MIM) tele in arctic white! Let me just say it looks WAY better in person, and I fell in love with its touch. Teles rock! I got the salesman to knock it down $50 too after complaing about its "flaws" for 10 minutes!
Anyways I will probably put in texas specials. pm me if you have any other recommendations for pups (blues/classic rock/jazz).
