Well, the whole discussion thing I was hoping for hasn't quite worked out yet, so hopefully this will get the ball rolling. What year did you join and what made you decide to join?
I joined in February 05. I saw a lot of things around The Pit during my brief time as a lurker that I wanted to share my opinion on. I decided it was time to sign up when I saw that there was a thread on Megaman. That was basically the straw that broke the camel's back, but in a good way.

Damn dude, that's a long time. Given that I joined just in time to catch the last really good year of Pit action before it all went to hell, I'd imagine that if I'd joined in 02 I wouldn't be able to stomach the place anymore.
