StonaLemons wrote on Jul 5th, 2009 2:06pmHey guys, some of you might recognise me from the singing thread though ive been pretty inactive recently.
Wyvern have you told axemanchris about this? I remember him having a rant about the singing thread and such which i think is what prompted making this group, its worth trying to get him onboard again since he truly knows what hes doing.
What we really need is a new singing thread with an updated FAQ since the most frequently asked questions seem to be on range and whether x singer is a tenor or whether the user is a tenor etc (which is kind of annoying because knowing your range doesnt really do anything...) and something pointing people in the direction of this group... quote |
ZeroChan wrote on Jul 5th, 2009 1:51amHey guys I have another question, how do you practice your 'all of a sudden head voice' sound? Because it seems that I can't just do a falsetto after my normal singing voice.
If you want reference, listen to the chorus part of 'Love Song for No One' in my profile. Thanks! quote |

I feel like when I'm singing it strains my throat... not enough to scare me, but after 10 minutes of singing it just doesn't feel great. Idea's? |
Could be from not breathing properly when you sing (from the diaphragm) or sometimes for me, I tense up my face for no good reason. Just relax, take a couple deep breathes and try again, see what that does. If it still hurts your probably singing from your throat, now the diaphragm,

Hi people!
I'd appreciate it if someone crits what they think in my singing voice. It's in my profile.
Peace.
Overall its pretty decent, you have good tone most through out, your pitch was good but there were spots where it wasnt off a lot, especially when you song the parts "you are invincible"
I believe breathing right would correct the problems in the bridge part where your pitch was off and it keep your tone way more consistant too. Read up on breathing from the diaphragm to get you started =]
Not a bad start! Keep it up!
Oh ok thanks dude! That bridge part kinda got me off guard haha. I totally forgot about it when I was recording at that moment.
I'm gonna go read up on breathing now. Thanks. |
Your welcome! Let me know if ya need anymore help =]
