Their skill is both similar, but I like Jimmy's music better. Their skill is both similar, but I like Jimmy's music better.

Jimmy Page, hands down. Better music, more influencial, more revolutional style. Jimmy Page, hands down. Better music, more influencial, more revolutional style.

I'm gonna have to disagree with everyone here. In the 80's, a time when Blues was just about history, SRV and Double Trouble blew the doors right open with "Texas Flood", their debut album. Stevie Ray Vaughn is personally one of my favorite guitarists. His career was short-lived, like many great musicians, but in that time, he's inspired many to pick up the guitar, including myself. i never really got into SRV. blues just isn't really my thing. i do respect him for bringing the genre back to life and all that, though. i never really got into SRV. blues just isn't really my thing. i do respect him for bringing the genre back to life and all that, though.

Holy shit... I can't believe I originally said Jimmy Page. Jimmy Page is one hell of a guitarist and the stuff he recorded fucking kicked ass... but in the end, I'll give my vote to Stevie Ray Vaughan. It's just... his music is just kind of more emphatic.
