Technically it is limited though- As in, they won't re-print it after the initial run has sold out. That doesn't restrict them from making said run 500,000 copies strong, however

For some reason though, I usually rather buy a plain normal version of the CD than a fancy "limited edition". Firstly, because the normal version is usually cheaper, and secondly, because the normal feels like I have the original album (even if the "remaster"/"re-release" on the side is a turn-off) on my record shelf instead of a "fancy" stickered cardboard version of it. Nothing wrong with posters etc. though... and I think I might buy one if the price happens to be right.

One thing I doubt I'll buy again though (unless I can't get it any other way); a two in one CD like my Consvming Impvlse/Testimony of The Ancients. Yes, it's tempting; two for the price of one, but it just doesn't feel right. A friend of mine laughed at me when he saw that CD on my shelf.

Well last time I ordered from here: http://www.cmdistro.com/ but you could try looking for albums from here: http://www.metalpricewatch.com/ (though I have to say that sometimes the search result doesn't have all the albums that do infact exist in a certain website and the prices are not necessarily always correct)

But if your only looking for albums by such bands you shouldn't really have any problem finding what you need from the web. Most sites should have those bands' CD's.

Hm, I can't decide which Death album is my favorite, either Human or Symbolic. I have the feeling that I haven't listened to ITP too closely, I need to pay more attention to it.

And to the dude who wants to order metal CDs, just look on amazon. I got practically all of my Testament, Megadeth etc. CDs from there and they were cheap, too. Even got Demolition Hammer for a reasonable price.

If you bothered to look at the guitar instead of just the name youd see its not a regular Ibanez. Im not a fan of the RG series or Prestige cause they're made of shit wood and terrible hardware. But this is mahogany neck thru cons. Im getting Duncans instead of the Infinities and Grover locking tuners to keep it in tune.

Its more like a Les Paul with a more comfortable accessible neck and lighter body.

Well, I only have a fraction of my downloaded stuff in hard copy. I like to be picky about what I buy. Also, if an album is too expensive I just buy a shirt of the band. Did so with Atheist, Cynic and Death, damn Amazon...

I only buy stuff that's really worth it. A cool cover helps, too.

I think it's important to buy only music that you like and think is good. Do not support crap music. Why the hell would you? That's why it's ok to download the album before purchasing the music, although listening to it from youtube is usually enough.

And since you mentioned them, I really need to buy Focus and Unquestionable Presence. Those are among my top fave albums of all time and I've been looking for a good bargain on 'em for along time since I first missed the chance to get a decent priced copy of Focus.

Most of the time not cheaper per se, but pretty much equal. An album of the aforementioned bands costs 16-20€ on Amazon, so I bought three shirts that cost just as much instead. I only buy albums that cost less than 10€, there's enough of them out there... for example, I got Terrible Certainty and Extreme Aggression for 6€ each, that's what I call a bargain.
Although in Coroner's case, the shirt was clearly cheaper than an album. Paid 15 for it, Mental Vortex costs 25€.

It must also be considered that bands get a whole lot more of money for merch than albums.
