Why did you decide to play trumpet?
For me, it's because I saw a local high school band marching in the parades, and I always thought it would be cool to march. There's two high schools, and the one I go to is the one that inspired me, so it's kinda cool that I'm now a part of the same band that inspired me to get into music in the first place. Every parade I think to myself "Maybe there's a kid out there watching, and wants to be a musician after watching us".

When I was in 5th grade, the high school band did a demonstration of each instrument for us, like how it sounded. The trumpet played the coolest lick, so there you have it. |
