Is this group still going? I haven't read in a while but have always been looking for a good book to get me started.

I don't think its still running. So why don't we just read a book and make a blurb for it if other UGers are interested in the book.
I'll start.
- Over To You - Roald Dahl.
Is all about a collection of short stories from which he wrote after being a jet pilot in World War 2 and generally all the stories are related to either war, planes or shell shocked citizen's. It made me cry a few times with how it shows the true colours of the war and how the enemy didn't just kill soldiers, but killed civilians and that really got to me.
So that it made me cry, I'll give it a 4/5 stars.

This seems about dead. Garrigan and I want to reboot it though. Try to recruit more people this time. I did read Slaughterhouse-Five and it instantly became one of my favorites.

The week was a suggestion. I should be able to get the book in a couple days but I don't know everyone's schedule.

In regards to where the discussions can take place I think it's best they take place in the group. Everyone is welcome to start a new thread in the group forum about something they find interesting with the book being read. Just remember, no spoilers unless you explicitly state which chapter of the book you are on.

The thread in the pit can be used when we begin to decide what our next book will be or if anyone stumbles upon it and we redirect them here.

If we're gonna wait for a week for everybody to get the book, when (and where) will we actually start discussing it?
