Well, it's not NWOBHM cause it came out in like 73 or something. I'm gonna make another list for essential pre-NWOBHM albums, where I would put, that, zeppelin, some sabbath, Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, and all the older bands.

Good idea.
After all, they're all influences for NWOBHM.

Ufo, was at their height with Phenomenon. Doctor Doctor, Oh My, Space Child, Rock Bottom. Probably the best record they made.

Another thing we agree on!
Should UFO be added to the album list?

Yeah, I think heaven and hell is great, Mob Rules was a bit less, and the one that they put out as Heaven and Hell was decent. Ozzy hasn't as much talent as Dio and is only famous for "creating heavy Metal" Even though i leave that to Deep Purple for making In Rock. Ozzy's voice is very bland and has little range and emotion in it.

I totally agree with you.
Ozzy is only famous that very reason, for his antics IMO.
Other then that, his vocals are just... meh.
Whereas Dio is legendary and deserves the respect he has.

What about UFO?

What I meant was you like a lot of great bands, in your profile but you forgot to mention megadeth. But that wouldn't be allowed here. It's thrash/speed metal and that came after NWOBHM which isn't allowed in here inless it has significance like Painkiller does.

Oh - I haven't updated that page in ages. I just named some bands from the top of my head that I could remember I liked. I don't listen to BFMV anymore, as an example.

Thought so. Your message just confused me somewhat.
Anyway, let's get back on topic.
Dio > Ozzy, in sabbath. Heaven and Hell is a great album.

Yes! Painkiller can be mentioned. I'd say Priest were part of the influence for NWOBHM.

What do you mean by that comment about Megadeth?
I really like Megadeth, a great band IMO and I listen to them a lot.
Would Megadeth be allowed in this group?

Yeah, and that's why I'm suprised no one's made a group for NWOBHM yet. Or at least I didn't find any.

It is, like I said anything that relates to NWOBHM or bands before that such as releases by them or if a band member reformed a band and released more records like angel witch. That falls under the first one if you consider priest NWOBHM

I guess the "Painkiller" album isn't allowed a mention?
