Learning to play songs.

you can call then what you wanti play my songs by ear so i dunno i kinda just get a rhythm going with my left and then a melody with my right and its good.

I just started, roughly one month ago, so one hand at a time. I'm still at the point where playing with two hands is difficult, but I can do some songs. both hands at once and usually I make my own version in the beginning which is a lot easier xD but when it's for music school I do the right hand first and then the left both hands at once and usually I make my own version in the beginning which is a lot easier xD

Only in the US. I'm studying music in uni and we use 1/4, 1/8 etc..

eeeurrrghh, 1/8 notes :eek: i call them the traditional way :P: quaver's. I learn a piece one hand at a time then put it together. But sometimes i just learn it really, really slowly and speed it up hands together. eeeurrrghh, 1/8 notes :eek:
