I agree but Sammy had alot of good songs too, just look at the 5150 album. One thing that I noticed is that when they had Dave, they were harder rocking and when they had Sammy, they turned kinda more 80's, but it still felt like Van Halen.

Definitely Dave. Sammy Hagar is good, but personally, I prefer Roth-era Halen to Hagar-era. Sammy did make some pretty good songs, but not to the same standard as Roth. They are both very talented, and if Sammy was good enough for Eddie, who am I to complain?
