Alright, I don't want to start up any heated debates, so keep it civil. What is everyone's views on PETA?
Personally, I'm not too fond of the organization. They take their protests to an extreme and have a very elitist attitude that has really put a harmful spin on the word "vegetarian." When people find out I'm a vegetarian they automatically assume that I'm going to start preaching to them or something. So, I believe in their ethics and morals, but their actions probably do more harm than good.

There was some animal rights group (may have been PETA related) that once put a cow on top of a clock tower here at UBC for some protest. Because the cow could not get down, they had to kill it. That pretty much summarizes my opinion of PETA and groups like it. |
