World's biggest and longest jam session.
Gather WA musicians of all instruments together in volume in a large venue and jam continuously on roster for like a day.
You could record it and chop it up into different songs.
Man, that would take up much hard drive space. 10 MB per minute per track. Say 24 tracks, so 240 MB per minute. 60 minutes per hour = 14400 MB = 14.4 GB hour 24 hours in a day = 345.6 GB
Seems possible to me, although I would NOT want to be the one organizing it.

No idea how long, but I would imagine 24 hours should do the length. |

Apparently the Grateful Dead played for 24 hours straight, so could always try for 30 or something.
EDIT: Also, the calculation would change for HD space if we used 48kHz 24 bit. I suppose around double the original.
EDIT2: http://www.realitytvworld.com/index/articles/story .php?s=1014767
100 musicians, 5 days.
We should try 250 musicians, 10 days

Too many people would be out of time and playing something different of have their guitar out of tune. |
