Uhm.... Strat trem bars are still pathetically frail, and too much abuse will still cause them to break. You don't have that problem with a Floyd. Hell, the first guitars with Floyds were strats that weren't made with the Floyds in them! They were "those Vai and Zappa bitches" that were actually doing this before Vai and Zappa: Floyd Rose himself, and Eddie Van Halen.
