Possible Timeline

SethMegadefan

I've seen this video on Youtube before, and it attempts to suggest a timeline theory for where each Zelda game chronologically falls in the series. It's pretty insane, because after Ocarina of Time (supposedly 2nd in the order), a split occurs with 2 Hyrules existing; one in which Link & Zelda are children and the other in which Zelda is an adult and has sent Link back in time.

It's pretty confusing stuff, even if you know the series very well like I do. But you should check out the video because it's a very interesting analysis, methinks.

Although that could just be the nerdiness talking. :D

I've seen that video many times, but the question is now where does Twilight Princess come in? We know Phantom Hourglass is right after Wind Waker with the same Link. ^Judging by time, I'd say it comes in Before OoT Adult link. A few of my fellow Zelda freaks already got into this. Link's body/moves and Zelda herself were more swift and mature then in TP ^Judging by time, I'd say it comes in Before OoT Adult link. A few of my fellow Zelda freaks already got into this. I would actually put the original, 2, and Link to the Past on the adult time line as its a new Link in each of those games I would actually put the original, 2, and Link to the Past on the adult time line as its a new Link in each of those games

All right, I have a new, improved timeline that actually (as I see it) makes a lot of sense.

The Minish Cap --> Four Swords --> Ocarina Of Time

Timeline splits after Ocarina Of Time.

Hyrule A (Child)

Majo ra's Mask --> Twilight Princess --> Four Swords Adventures --> A Link To The Past --> Link's Awakening --> The Legend Of Zelda --> Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link --> Oracle Of Seasons/Ages --> Oracle Of Ages/Seasons

Hyrule B (Adult - No Hero Of Time)

Flood --> The Wind Waker --> Phantom Hourglass
--------------------- -------------------------------------------------- --------
It should be noted that Ocarina Of Time and Majora's Mask contain the same Link. A Link To The Past and Link's Awakening contain the same Link, The Legend Of Zelda and Zelda II contain the same Link, and finally, the Oracle games contain the same Link. I'm still trying to find a place for the Zelda II backstory to take place though.
