I'm not sure, that's kinda sounds like it would take some thought...I've always thought it would be cool to make a game with a spicific timeline like MM, but more than 3 days. I love games w/ characters that are more 3D. And it would have to be loooong (the longer the better) and have a HUGE playscape. -Lots of places to explore is always nice. I guess if you mixed OoT and MM together with WW's map (but mostly land not ocean) it would be something like what I'm talking about...

So here goes Ideally, I want somthing that can be used on a wii but also on a gamecube or a PC
Graphics the highest possible, naturally we want full scaleable graphics on the PC going from low end users up to Crysis like.
Soundtrack? Koji Kondo would have to compose naturally, he did such a good job on the other games, but instead of a midi track we want full orchestra. And realistic sounds
Gameplay: Not alot to alter really, having wii remote functionality would be good, but is not needed for the gamecube or PC
the world: Bigger is better, and we want a huge world with tons of side content (similar to oblivion, possibly even bigger!)
dungeons: lots, we want this to be a huge game, 3 "starter" dungeons before the main story line unfolds, Earth, Water, Fire.
Then we have a middle bit where things get challenging, we don't want linear temples (no go through that door get a key, go through next door) But temples which are challenging to play some should include demi-bosses. Sticking to the elemental/factors of life, we want Earth, Fire, Water, Air, Life, Death, Emotion (possibly not in that order)
But that's not it, the story would then unravel some more and 3 last temples come up, these would be hard not just in puzzle solving but in terms of monsters, debuffs that may be applied etc. These temples would be Time, Light and Darkness
These temples can be completed in any order, there is no item that would be needed to progress in one of them, but their locations would be a mystery and you may have to talk to people to find out where they could be. Items that could be located in the temples would make the earlier parts of that temple easier but would be necessary for the later bits (sort of like not recieving the lens of truth until your half way through the shadow temple) Expect not just move this block to get past, but logic puzzles/riddles. These temples will make the water temple seem like 1+1 = 2
Final temple, this would be the Temple of the Elements, final part of the story, very very hard, not long but hard. then final boss at the end.
Anyway that's it.

I would love if it could only be used by Nintendo consoles (This is why I love Nintendo so much. Nintendo = Not Sell Outs EVER)
I would love the music to be written by Koji Kondo because he's a genius and all the music in Zelda games have been written by him.
Graphics. I want the graphics to be like the graphics in Twilight Princess. They were really good.
Map. I love giant maps because I love getting lost and then going somewhere completely unknown. And also Giant maps = Longer Game.
Dungeons. I want there to be more dungeons because I love long games that will take around 3-5 months to complete.
I would love it if it has lots of puzzles too.
Maybe some lost dungeons which are hidden underwater and are really hard to find.
Rockingbobs response would make an awesome game.

I totally agree!

i have to agree with all of the comments previous, muuuuuch longer, i want this baby to to take months, not days, i think the current formula is sick as, and shouldnt be changed much
more interactive environment, huge amounts of sidequests (challenging as hell sidequests), a few staple Zelda weapons, but also some new ones
sidequests need to have more depth and build upon the plot as well, rather than just doing favors that may reward you with a better weapon
i also think a whole universe of media, similar to the Halo and Starwars franchises, including novels, comics, movies etc
this will never happen unfortunately

I think they need to make a huge high rez top view Zelda game. Like, pretty much everything that people have said so far, but in two d instead of 3 d. It should be so big and hogh def that they couldn't possibly make it for gameboy of anything.
Awesome.

How bout all zelda realms mashed into one big universe. Like world of warcraft. You can explore them all, Hyrule, Termina, Land of Twilight. And make the distances way larger.
